Every time I return from the range I add a few notes to my range log. Generally half the notes record what went wrong and the other half note what items I should have brought that would have mitigated the “what went wrong” list. I rarely take the time to acknowledge the dozen or so items that often make the range dates an overall success. So I thought I would start by pointing out a few items that can really aid in a successful range day. One such item is the Universal CLIPDRAW from Skyline. This is an useful clip that can be attached to nearly anything from a handgun to a target scoring marker. I have them on about a half dozed items including jumbo markers as well as my E2D Defender flashlight. While not my first choice to carrying the I have seen them attached to the ubiquitous range staple gun. Held in place via a strip of industrial double sided tape and a mounting clip they are a handy and versatile tool.
